The second C of Lee Iacocca's C list for leadership.

QUOTE from Colin Powell: "Great leaders are almost always great simplifiers, who can cut through argument, debate, and doubt, to offer a solution everybody can understand."

Today I'm writing what I LEARNED about Lee Iacocca's second C in his list of nine traits of leadership. The second C is to be CREATIVE.

A leader has to be creative, go out on a limb, be willing to try something different. You know, think outside the box. Leadership is all about managing change - whether you're leading a company or leading a country. Things change, and you get creative. You adapt.

Tomorrow I'll write about the third C. It begins with the letters CO _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ and is eleven letters long. See if you can guess.

HUMOR for today from the Readers's Digest.

Sarah, the self-appointed arbiter of the town's morals, stuck her nose into everyone's business. She made a mistake, however, when she accused her neighbor George of being an alcoholic after spotting his pickup parked in front of a bar one afternoon.

"George, everyone who sees it there will know what you're doing," she told him in front of their church group.

George ignored her and walked away. Later that evening, he parked his pickup in front of Sarah's house and left it there all night.
