Today is Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Pete's stats: 10 minutes of yoga, 10 minutes of lifting weights and 50 minutes of walking = 2.7 miles for an August total of 42.` miles. My weigth was 162.2 pounds.
The Republicans are writing their platform in Tampa, Florida in prepearation for their convention next week. The did it again. The platform committee embraced pro-life language with no mention of exceptions for rape or incest. I guess "legitimate rape" is alive and well in the Republican Party. My hope is that all these Republican delegates sign up to adopt the babies coming from women who have suffered through rape or incest. If they had to do that it would be a different story. AMEN!!
